Role Summary

As an Outreach Specialist, you will be on the front lines of our mission—engaging with prospects who have shown prior interest in going solar. Your role is to educate, qualify, and schedule consultations by initiating conversations over the phone and digital channels. This is a remote position focused on warm outreach to inbound leads, event signups, and marketing-generated contacts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Engagement

    • Reach out to warm leads via phone, SMS, or email

    • Educate homeowners about the benefits of solar and answer basic questions

    • Qualify leads based on ownership, energy usage, roof suitability, and financial readiness

    • Schedule consultations with our licensed solar advisors

  • CRM & Follow-Up

    • Log all communications, contact attempts, and notes in CRM systems

    • Manage follow-ups with leads who requested callbacks or additional info

    • Track lead status and ensure smooth handoff to solar consultants

  • Collaboration & Feedback

    • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to optimize outreach strategies

    • Report recurring questions, objections, or feedback to help refine messaging

    • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews

Qualifications

  • Required

    • Strong communication skills and phone presence

    • Comfortable speaking with homeowners and educating them on solar

    • Basic technical or financial literacy to understand solar value propositions

    • Reliable computer and internet connection

    • Self-motivated and organized with good time management

  • Preferred

    • Experience in sales, appointment setting, or call-based outreach

    • Familiarity with solar energy or home improvement industries

    • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel)

    • Bilingual (especially Spanish/English) is a strong plus
